FAQ
Answers to common questions from teams evaluating StatusLab.
Product
What is StatusLab?
StatusLab combines uptime monitoring with public status pages, incidents, and scheduled maintenance so your team and customers share one source of truth.
How does a status page get its data?
You configure components and monitors in the dashboard. The public page reads that configuration and live incident and maintenance data—no manual copying.
Monitoring
What kind of checks can I run?
You can track HTTP endpoints and related health signals from the dashboard. Capabilities expand over time; see Monitoring in the product for the latest options.
How fast are checks?
Intervals depend on monitor configuration and plan limits. The dashboard shows recent runs so you can verify cadence for each monitor.
Incidents & notifications
Can I post updates during an incident?
Yes. Incidents support a timeline of updates you can reflect on your public status page for subscribers.
Will you spam my whole company?
Notification routing is designed to target the channels and audiences you configure—tune policies as your org grows.
Billing & accounts
Is there a free tier?
Self-serve signup is available while we finalize pricing. See the Pricing page for current guidance.
Where can I get an invoice or change billing details?
Billing surfaces will appear in the dashboard as paid plans roll out. Enterprise customers can work with our team directly.
